• Interactions include likes, retweets, and replies

1. Create an account at twitter.com or download the X app

2. Tap the “What’s happening?” box or the plus icon

3. Type your message (keep it under 280 characters)

4. Add optional media: image, video, GIF, or link

5. Use hashtags to reach a wider audience

6. Hit Tweet to publish it

You can also:

• Retweet someone else’s post to share it with your followers

• Reply to tweets to join conversations

• Send Direct Messages for private chats

Tip: Use relevant hashtags (#). Hashtags are invaluable within Twitter. Many pages have grown thanks to the correct use of hashtags.
