PADS FOR HER DIGNITY
To buy and distribute sanitary pads to girls who can't afford them, so they can stay in school with dignity.
Hi, my name is GUMOSHABE SHIVAN and I am from Uganda.
I am starting this fundraiser because I see what girls in my community go through every month.
Many girls miss 3-5 days of school because they cannot afford sanitary pads. Some use old rags, old clothes, or even nothing. They feel embarrassed, ashamed, and scared. So they stay home and miss their lessons.
No girl should miss school because of her period. No girl should feel shame for something natural.
I may be just a girl, but I want to help. My dream is to buy and give free sanitary pads to 200 girls in my area.
My first goal is €250. This will buy 200 packs of pads - one for each girl for one month.
If we raise more, I will be able to help them for 3 months and reach more schools.
Every donation matters:
€5 = 4 girls get pads
€20 = 16 girls get pads
€50 = 40 girls get pads
