Help Us Bring Clean and Safe Water to Two Hamlets in Sukenya

During a visit to Sukenya village, Dupoto Community Organization (DCO) met with community members and witnessed the serious challenges they face in accessing water. Residents must walk long distances to collect small amounts of water, which is often unclean and unsafe for human consumption.

Women carry much of the responsibility for collecting water for household use and livestock. These long journeys, in an area where elephants and other wildlife are present, also put women and girls at risk.

After identifying this urgent need, DCO aims to raise €11,000 to drill a borehole that will bring clean and safe water closer to people in two hamlets in Sukenya.
